So about a month ago I planted a few pole bean plants next to my 8 foot tall forest sunflower, and to no one's surprise the beans used the sunflowers as scaffolding.
Unfortunately the beans pulled the sunflowers to the ground with their weight. It looks like this currently.
While kinda ugly, the sunflowers still bloomed, the bees appear plenty happy, and I got a ton of beans for my trouble!
Score one for strategic laziness!
