Are you an eco-conscious college-age student looking for the perfect way to get paid while feeding people and solving climate change?

Roots Down is looking for fun, creative people to be part of the GreenHive Leadership Program, a 10-week paid fellowship in DeKalb County, GA.
​
Learn more about the regenerative and urban AG space, all while honing your leadership and community-organizing chops, meeting cool people, getting valuable political experience, and saving the planet!
​
Here are the deets:
Time Period: 10 weeks
Start Date: Sometime in the fall- official date to be decided closer to time
Class Session: Tuesdays, 5 - 7 pm
In-Person Hours: 3-4 hours / week
Additional Study: 1-2 hours / week
Maximum hours: 6 hours a week
Pay: $1250 stipend
This is an in-person position, so COVID protocols will be in place throughout the fellowship. Reliable access to the internet, computer, and transportation are super important. You'll be in regular contact with the Program Coordinator through weekly meetings and email.
Your Tasks:

Work with the Roots Down Program Coordinator, DeKalb County Commissioners, and your cohort team mates to design, build, and activate a capstone legacy project.

Work within your Breakout Group to complete individual and group mini-projects and activities;

Attend all weekly meetings and complete all individual work;
Requirements:

Must be a DeKalb County resident or attending a DeKalb County university or community college.

Must be 18-22 years old at start of program.

Must be legally eligible to work in the United States with ID.

Other than that, there are no special requirements for the acceptance into the program. We're interested in a cross-section of students, so we'll accept all majors, minors, and interests.
