3 Things You Can Do This Fall

Everyone asks: "Well, what can I do?"

Here are 3 things you can do this fall to help build

a Fruitful Community in your neighborhood!

Think about your leaves!

The leaves in your yard are important. They help build healthy soil as they decompose. They help provide a habitat for  pollinators to hibernate over the winter.

  • Keep your leaves in your yard to help create rich soil

  • Think about raking leaves in your driveways and pathways instead of using gas powered-blowers

  • Add your leaves you do collect to your compost pile (or make a big pile to jump in!)

Plant a new fruit tree.

Fall is the perfect time to plant a new fruit tree in your yard - think Persimmon, Asian Pear, or Serviceberry trees!

  • There is no better way to join in a Fruitful Community than planting a fruit tree!

  • Bonus points if you plant a fruit tree in your front yard for your neighbors to share!
